Lau Choy Seng was founded 1948, Singapore started as wooden clog maker. Along the way, Mr. Lau Swee Hong, son of Mr. Lau Chew Tat joined the company. The business started to divert from its main core at 1970, and Lau Choy Seng ventured into kitchenware supply in specifically focusing on Chinese Kitchenware.

 

At the year of 1993, Lau Choy Seng relocates the retail outlet to 23 & 25 Temple Street that occupies two units of retail shop lots. A wider range of Chinese Kitchen Equipment added to the company's profile. Lau Choy Seng operates only with 1 van for delivery and 2 staffs.

 

With good support from our respective clients, we further expand the services and currently supply kitchenwares & tableware to the hotels, chain restaurants, institutional facilities, and individual F&B outlet. In order to be competitive and meet the needs of our clients, Lau Choy Seng direct import goods from overseas. We also expanded our warehouse from 8,000 sq ft to 12,000 sq ft.

 

 

Lau Choy Seng continues to seek for opportunities, by the year of 2006 we’ve made remarkable progress- first established project internationally with Holiday Inn Malacca. Follow by a few local major projects includes St. Regis Singapore, Resorts World & Marina Bay Sands. 2007, we further expand the warehouse from 20,000 to 45,000 sqft at 30 Tuas West Ave.

 

We are now direct distributors and stockist for more than 35 brands and have over 20,000 products in our stock list for Tableware, Barware, Cutleries, Chinese, Japanese and Western Kitchenware, Food Service equipment. In addition, we also produce a house brand of quality stainless steel pots and pans, Chinese kitchen knives and tools, kitchen equipment, chef coats, uniform, and aprons.

 

By 2015, branch office & showroom in Malaysia named LCS Hospitality Solutions Sdn Bhd started in operations.
